Sinopsis

Forced sterilization of indigenous women is a phenomenon deeply rooted in the history of many communities, marked by coercion, discrimination and violation of human rights. This practice, unfortunately, has been used as a tool for population control, cultural and racial domination, perpetrated under various justifications such as public health policies or family planning programs. Over the decades, indigenous women have been subjected to this type of practice without their informed consent, violating their reproductive autonomy, their cultural identity and their fundamental rights.
